StrataRise Mid and Max Range Multi-Level Pedestals are designed for higher rise installations of Joist supported Decks or for Pavers and Deck Tiles. With reinforced raised level base stands and 55mm (2") or 105mm (4") of adjustment as standard, these pedestals start from an installation height of 60mm (2.36") adjusting to 115mm (4.53") or 115mm adjusting up to 220mm (8.66") as standard. The installation height can be increased in steps of 50mm (2") for the Mid Range using Stratarise EX50 and 100mm (4") for the Max Range using with EX100 QuickClick extensions as required.

Please note - for high rise installations it is essential to ensure the structure is anchored to prevent lateral movements.

StrataRise multi-level pedestals make it easy to achieve perfect flatness of the final floor, deck or paved area. The system is very easy to use and aids quick, precise and professional installation.

Each support is composed of a threaded head section, with a vertical flange for fixing joists into position, or with 4 tabs, 4mm (5/32") in width, for tile or paver spacing, Spacer tabs are individually removable to enable the supports to be used in areas where no separation is required, such as under the centres of large slabs, or at T-joints and sides. 

An easy to operate threaded adjustment ring makes raising or lowering the head really quick and precise. Height adjustments can be made without removing the paver or tile thus allowing for extremely easy and fast installation.

The large 8" (200mm) reinforced raised base plate provides stable support on most surfaces. Scribe marks are provided on the underside to assist in trimming for use at sides and corners of installations. An optional 3mm (1/8") thick anti-slip, cushioning, rubber base ring is available for use on membranes, etc. This effectively reduces transmitted noise where pavers and decks are mounted on balconies or roof areas.

We recommend the use of our optional acoustic cushioning ring for the support head area for tile and paver installations. These help to bed corners securely, prevent any rattling, and reduce transmitted noise through the support system.

StrataMax pedestal supports are tested to withstand loads of up to 2190lbs (990Kgf) at their weakest setting, i.e. maximum height adjustment with just one thread engaged.

Suitable for laying over membranes and insulating panels

Thanks to the large support area of the pedestal bases the system can be installed on top of waterproofing membranes, rigid insulating panels and onto any solid, compact laying surface.

The circular shape of the base adapts well to the course of the laying surface, even when this is not perfectly regular. The base incorporates holes for the outflow of water and two head-cut lines to be used when laying the supports at perimeter edges or corners.
